     Demining works – research for explosives – Castle of Doorwerth near Arnhem (NL)

 

In September 1944, during and right after ‘Operation Market Garden’ (WWII) the castle of Doorwerth was target of cannonadings. In the context of the restoration works of the heavily damaged castle, aDeDe takes provides expertise for the detection and excravation of ammunition in and round the slots of the castle.
Dozens of explosives were removed safely.
