At the work up for the building of a wastewater treatment plants in Ath an EOD-expert 'helps' the safe progress of the digging work.

This happens in 3 fases:

1. Detecting the soil

2. Aproaching the detected objects and safely remove the found ammunition

3. Assisting during digging work

I. Detecting the soil

This happens on the surface and/or in drillholes.

The obtained detectiondate is processed and compared through software

and projected on plan to define the exact position of the detected objects.

II. Aproaching the detected objects and safely remove the found ammunition

Dozens of WW1-projectiles of different calibres (7,6 cm > 25 cm) were digged out.
