During preparation works for the construction of a wastewater treatment plants in Ath, an EOD-expert 'helps' the safe progress of the digging work.

This happens in 3 fases:

1. Detecting the soil

2. Aproaching the detected objects and safe removal of the detected ammunition

3. Assisting during excravations

I. Detecting the soil

This happens on the surface and/or in drillholes.

The obtained detectiondate is processed and compared through software

and projected on plan to define the exact position of the detected objects.

II. Aproaching the detected objects and safely removing the detected ammunition

Dozens of WW1-projectiles of different calibres (7,6 cm > 25 cm) were dug out.

III. Assisting during excavation

During the excavation there is a continuous safety accompaniment
