Friday October, 26 2007 Again an aerial bomb was found on the site of Total at Ertvelde (Rieme) and this at less then 10m from the liquid and gas piping.

The 500 lb bomb was of Britisch origin.

On Sunday there was a meeting with all the parties involved (the province, the community, DOVO, Total, DEC, Fuji, Fluxys and aDeDe). They decided to neutralize the bomb.

Under the counsel of aDeDe, some collective protections were placed around the explosive.

The 'Bombardementstraat' was temporary closed and a few inhabitants had to stay inside their houses.

EOD successfully rendered safe the bomb.
