Special techniques:
Specialised Techniques such as Low Order
(LO) can be used in circumstances where transporting
or moving a UXO might activate the ordnance. UXOs near
houses can be destroyed by LO with a fair chance of
not causing major damage. A charge is used to initiate
a chemical or kinetic reaction without causing the main
explosive charge to detonate. The shockwave created
by this donor charge, will either:
- cut the metal body
- burn the main charge
- initiate a deflagration
- create a certain kinetic energy
