See how it works:

Detecting the hidden objects with a magnetometer or an electro magnetometer (EM)

The equipment measures the magnetic anomalies.

Computer aided identification and interpretation
All data are computer aided evaluated. This results in spreadsheets, 2D and 3D images.
Surface markings of the suspected objects
Object lists are used to mark each suspicious object.
Collective safety measures
The use of collective safety measures results in reduced danger area.
Excavating and uncovering the ammunition

Objects are, depending on their depth, partly mechanically excavated. Afterwards mine detectors, trowels and prodders are used to surface the ordnance.

Identification and danger area estimation based on technical ammunition procedures.
Ammunition technical datasheets help to identify the ammunition. They explain the safety measures to be taken.
Danger reduction measures, immobilising the explosive ordnance.
Explosive reduction measures, based on calculations, are taken to prevent damage.
