Geology and Geophysics

Geophysical research is a quick and efficient method to analyse landscapes. Using magnetometric detection, ground penetrating radar (GPR) and electromagnetic detection (EM) we can trace old structures in and of the landscape. These mentioned techniques can also be applied to locate archaeological structures and to evaluate their condition. By utilising the geophysical approach, we develop a better understanding of the site in it's wider geographical and geophysical environment. The research allows also a more focused archaeological excavation.
